OLIVE AND WROUGHT IRON CONCEPT
The olive tree, tree of the gods, brought to Salento by the Messapians 2500 years ago, on the coast and in the Salento hinterland, bears witness to the ancient tradition of olive oil cultivation. Wrought iron, an ancient tradition since the 1500s, decorates the portals of palaces and churches in the area.
